Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access to and use of Arbdeck, including the Arbdeck iOS app, website, APIs, shared links, subscriptions, alerts, and related services.

Important: Arbdeck aggregates, summarizes, organizes, and links to third-party financial news and market information for informational purposes only. Arbdeck is not the publisher or owner of third-party articles, images, videos, logos, RSS feed content, or publisher media. Always verify important information by reading the original source and checking multiple independent sources.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Arbdeck ("Arbdeck," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Arbdeck iOS app, website, APIs, shared links, subscriptions, alerts, widgets, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using Arbdeck, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Arbdeck.

If you use Arbdeck on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.

2. Description of Service

Arbdeck helps users follow financial news and market-moving events through feeds, summaries, "So What?" analysis, company snapshots, trending market intelligence, watchlists or follows, bookmarks, sharing, notifications, widgets, and related features. Some features may require an account, an active subscription, device integrity verification, or notification permission.

Arbdeck aggregates and organizes information from third-party RSS feeds, Google News RSS feeds, publisher pages, market data providers, and other public or licensed sources. Sources may include publishers and providers such as Reuters, CNBC, Bloomberg, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Economist, CoinDesk, Economic Times, Business Standard, TechCrunch, and similar services. The available sources may change over time.

Arbdeck is designed to display source attribution, article metadata, limited excerpts or summaries, generated market context, and links back to source pages rather than republishing full third-party articles. Where available, article cards and detail views include a "Read More" or source link that sends users to the original publisher or source page.

Paid AI analysis features, including "So What?" analysis, are subject to fair-use, rate-limit, abuse-prevention, provider, device, IP, security, and availability controls. Arbdeck Pro currently includes up to 25 uncached "So What?" analysis generations per user per UTC day and up to 3 uncached generations per minute. Cached or previously generated analyses may be served separately and may not count against this generation quota. These limits may change, and Arbdeck does not guarantee any minimum number of successful generations, uninterrupted availability, response time, or access to any specific AI provider.

We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also impose usage limits, rate limits, eligibility requirements, or subscription requirements for any feature.

3. Disclaimer of Third-Party Content Liability

Arbdeck is NOT the publisher or speaker of any third-party news content, RSS feed content, publisher media, market data, source page, or external article displayed, summarized, linked, or referenced in the Service. To the extent applicable, Arbdeck relies on protections for platforms that display, organize, or link to third-party content, including Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. Section 230).

Arbdeck does not:

  • Create, author, edit, or verify original third-party news articles.
  • Own or claim ownership of third-party article text, headlines, images, videos, logos, RSS feed content, source names, publisher pages, or other media.
  • Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, legality, availability, or timeliness of any third-party article, feed item, image, link, metadata, market data, source page, summary, or analysis.
  • Endorse any publisher viewpoint, article, security, company, transaction, political position, investment thesis, or third-party service.
  • Take responsibility for editorial decisions, corrections, takedowns, paywalls, licensing terms, images, media, or publication practices of external sources.
  • Control whether third-party articles, RSS feeds, publisher pages, images, or source links remain available.

4. Third-Party Content Ownership and Source Links

All third-party news content, article text, headlines, excerpts, images, videos, logos, source names, RSS feed content, publisher pages, and related media remain the property of their respective publishers, authors, providers, licensors, or rights holders. Arbdeck does not transfer any ownership rights in third-party content to you or claim that third-party content belongs to Arbdeck.

Arbdeck provides attribution and links back to source pages when source URLs are available. The Service is intended to help users discover, summarize, contextualize, and navigate to original reporting, not to replace the original publisher's article or service.

Third-party publishers and data providers may have their own terms, conditions, copyrights, licenses, subscriptions, paywalls, robots policies, usage rules, and privacy practices. You are responsible for complying with any terms that apply when you visit or use third-party sites or services.

If a rights holder believes content has been displayed or linked improperly, they may contact us at hello@arbdeck.com so we can review the issue.

5. Informational Use Only and User Responsibilities

Arbdeck content is generated from third-party news, RSS feeds, market data, public sources, user signals, and automated analysis. It may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, misclassified, unavailable, or wrong. AI-generated summaries and analysis can be incorrect and should be checked against original sources.

Arbdeck is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, tax adviser, legal adviser, or accounting adviser. Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or trading advice.

By using Arbdeck you agree to:

  • Use the Service for informational purposes only.
  • Verify important information through original publisher pages and multiple independent sources.
  • Not rely on Arbdeck as the only basis for buying, selling, holding, or otherwise transacting in any security, commodity, cryptocurrency, derivative, fund, private-market interest, or other asset.
  • Consult qualified professionals before making financial, legal, tax, or accounting decisions.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights and terms of third-party publishers, content creators, data providers, and rights holders.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and not use Arbdeck if you are under 13 years of age.

Arbdeck does not guarantee any financial outcome, market return, trading result, data accuracy, data availability, or suitability for your needs.

6. Accounts and Security

You may need an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for activity under your account unless the activity results from our failure to use reasonable security measures.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for Arbdeck or others, or are used in a way that could harm the Service.

7. Subscriptions and Purchases

Arbdeck may offer paid features through auto-renewing subscriptions or other in-app purchases. When you purchase through the Apple App Store, Apple processes the payment, renewal, cancellation, refund, and billing relationship under Apple's terms. Arbdeck does not receive your full payment card details.

Subscription features, prices, trials, renewal periods, and offers are shown before purchase where required. Unless cancelled through your Apple account settings before renewal, auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Use of a paid feature may be denied, delayed, throttled, or served from cache when fair-use limits, security checks, device integrity checks, provider limits, technical issues, or abuse-prevention systems apply. Such limits and controls are part of the Service and do not create a refund right except where required by law or Apple's App Store policies.

We may change paid feature packaging prospectively. If a subscription is required for a feature, access can end when the subscription expires, is cancelled, is refunded, or cannot be verified.

8. Your Content and Signals

You may create or provide account data, follows, bookmarks, likes, saved articles, share actions, notification preferences, portfolio holdings, and other inputs ("User Data"). You retain your rights in your User Data.

You grant Arbdeck a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, host, process, copy, transmit, display, and create derived signals from your User Data as needed to operate, secure, personalize, support, and improve Arbdeck. This includes using your follows, likes, bookmarks, and shares to personalize feeds and notifications.

You represent that you have the rights needed to provide any User Data you submit and that your use of Arbdeck will not violate law or third-party rights.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Arbdeck for unlawful, deceptive, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, harvest, crawl, benchmark, or bulk export the service except as allowed by law.
  • Bypass paywalls, subscriptions, rate limits, device checks, authentication, or security controls.
  • Use Arbdeck output to build a competing service or train, fine-tune, or evaluate models without permission.
  • Interfere with service availability, integrity, or security.
  • Upload malware, exploit code, or content that infringes or violates third-party rights.

10. Intellectual Property

Arbdeck, including its name, app design, software, trademarks, service marks, logos, interface, generated product features, and other content we create, is owned by Arbdeck or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

All third-party news content, article text, headlines, images, videos, logos, publisher names, source names, RSS feed content, market data, and related third-party media remain the property of their respective owners. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

11. App Store Terms

If you downloaded Arbdeck from the Apple App Store, Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Arbdeck. To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no responsibility for claims related to Arbdeck or your use of Arbdeck. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it.

Your use of the app must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and any other App Store rules that apply to you.

12. Account Deletion and Termination

You may delete your account from within the app where available, or contact us at hello@arbdeck.com. Deleting your account may remove core account records, bookmarks, likes, follows, portfolio holdings, push tokens, and related personalization state, subject to retention described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, or use the service in a way that could harm Arbdeck, other users, or third parties.

13. No Warranties

Arbdeck is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

We do not warrant that Arbdeck will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any content, market data, notification, summary, analysis, or link will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any purpose.

We also do not warrant that fair-use quotas, rate-limit allowances, cached analysis, device verification, provider capacity, or AI generation capacity will be available in every period or sufficient for your needs.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arbdeck and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenues, lost data, loss of goodwill, investment losses, trading losses, business interruption, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, any content obtained from the Service, reliance on any summary or analysis, reliance on any third-party news content, or unauthorized access to or use of our systems.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from or relating to Arbdeck or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Arbdeck for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) USD 50.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arbdeck and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use or misuse of Arbdeck, violation of these Terms, violation of law, reliance on third-party content, or infringement of third-party rights.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by posting the updated Terms, updating the "Last updated" date, or providing in-app notice. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Contact
